My name is Yossi Hyman, and I’m a certified tour guide who has been living in Gush Etzion for 18 years. I specialize in leading tours of this area, Herodion, and Jerusalem. During my many years in Gush Etzion I have come to realize how special this region is, with its bracing mountain air, fascinating history, and the variety of interesting people who live here. Perhaps you would prefer a visit to the Judean Desert, with its many secret places that provided shelter to Bar Kochba’s soldiers in their battles against the Romans. I can also take you to see Herodion, the palace built by King Herod, with its magnificent view of the nearby hills.
