Tekoa Winery – Tradition, Art, and Wine in the Judean Desert
Tekoa Winery, one of Israel’s first boutique wineries, is carved into a mountain overlooking the Judean Desert. It was founded in the 1980s by Dov Levy-Neumand z”l – a Holocaust survivor, artist, and winemaker.
In 2023, his son-in-law, Orel Daudi, restored the winery and brought it back to life, honoring the family legacy and the art of winemaking.
The winery’s exceptional grapes are sourced from the Kanub Ridge, rising 950 meters above sea level, near the settlement of Pnei Kedem, where the Daudi family resides. Orel and Sarit Daudi, who chose to return to agriculture and winemaking, place great importance on the deep connection between the land of Israel and their family – a bond that guides them through every season and influences their unique wines.
The family-owned winery specializes in producing natural wines, with no additives, and offers unique boutique experiences, tours, and guided tastings for groups, couples, and families. Tekoa Winery aims to let every visitor experience the magical connection between people and the land and witness the winemaking process up close.
Tours and visits are available by appointment only.
